LottoMAX for example; the odds of winning are 1 in 99,884,400, now that they've increased the pool from 49 to 50 numbers, you get 3 chances to win. Your chances of winning are 3 in 99,884,400 not 1 in 33,494,800, and that's huge difference. Every ticket is stand alone. We expand on this some more here.
